Critical Acclaim for Jameson Cooper & Ketevan Badridze - Prokofiev: Music for Violin & Piano on Afinat Records: “What a wonder… a superb new Prokofiev CD… Cooper treats the lyrical lines with loving sensitivity and manages tricky feats as if they are natural extensions of his nimble artistry… Badridze is a pianist of bold accomplishment.” – Donald Rosenberg, Gramophone Magazine, UK “Outstanding playing… Both performers are in great form, with their outstanding techniques allowing them to explore the emotional depths of the dark and intensely personal F Minor sonata in particular. Cooper and Badridze have some top competition in this field – Viktoria Mullova, Alina Ibragimova, Jonathan Crow and James Ehnes – but this is a disc that can more than hold its own.” –The Whole Note Magazine, Canada “Cooper and Badridze make the music flow with a natural flourish that 75 years ago seemed perhaps next-to-impossible. Cooper sings and Badridze gives the music drive in what are indeed two wonderful readings, among the very best…” – Classical-Modern Music Review, USA More info: info@ultreiasb.org
